We use the videoconferencing tool ZOOM to join each other in worship. ZOOM is a free tool available for PC, Mac, Android, and iOS.
|Shenandoah Congregation is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.|
To join the service and view the video on your computer or smartphone, use this link and follow the on-screen instructions.
To join using audio only, dial:
Meeting ID: 503 805 205#
If you have any trouble connecting, you can call Jim Burdick at 210-722-3610 or Richard Cole at 210-323-3913 .
How to Use Zoom
Using ZOOM is fairly simple and straightforward. Generally, it will only require that you click on a link in the invitation.
However, the first time you do this, it might invite you to download a small ZOOM app or program, and you can safely allow that. This should be a one-time action, so please try the process in advance of Sunday so you will be ready to join smoothly Sunday morning.
If you cannot download the software, you should be invited to continue using ZOOM using just your browser. This should work OK, but might offer a few reductions in the overall experience.
You may use a telephone to listen to the service by dialing the phone number shown and entering the Meeting ID when prompted.
Hints and Tips
- At first, participants other than the presider and speaker will be muted.
- If you have a camera, please try to not distract others.
- Unless we take turns talking, none of us can be heard or understood.
- Practice, practice, practice, as this may be our new normal for awhile.
