Helpful Hints 3/19/2020
As we all know, we find ourselves in a new normal with many changes to adapt to. In order to help navigate through this changing landscape, here are a couple of helpful hints.
Since we are not meeting face to face in our church building, we will need to be adaptive with our continued giving. Even though we are not using the building, we as a local congregation and world church still have bills to pay as well as oblation money to raise to help those in need during these trying times. If you would like to continue your regular pattern of giving, I would suggest mailing a check to the church address at 11910 Vance Jackson Road, San Antonio, TX 78230. We will check that mail box regularly throughout the week. As a reminder, I would advise against sending cash through the US mail. There are a few of you who already use bill pay through your bank. No changes need to be made to this process that is already in place. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call Kathleen Cole at 210-478-8669.
Available Supplies
We have probably all heard the stories of limited supplies and seen the empty shelves at the grocery store. One of the “silver linings” of ceasing physical assembly at the church is that we no longer need some of the supplies we keep on hand. In fact, we had in stock some of the supplies that are hard to come by. If you need toilet paper we have 60 rolls. If you need hand sanitizer we have about 2.5 gallons. If you need liquid hand soap we have about 100 oz. as well as a few boxes of tissues and hand napkins. These items can be rationed out to those in need. If you are in need, please contact Richard Cole at 210-323-3913 to schedule a time to come and get some supplies. While this is a descent amount of supplies, we don’t know how long this situation will last so we ask that you use this option prudently.
Please stay safe and continue praying for others in need,
Richard
